Get to know Annelies
Annelies works in the sales team at TransHeroes, where she focuses on customer contact, building new relationships and bringing in new customers. She enjoys a friendly atmosphere in the workplace and is described by her colleagues as spontaneous, helpful and someone who always has something to talk about. Outside of work, Annelies also enjoys being around people. She loves going out for dinner, enjoys cooking and certainly never says no to a glass of wine. She can also regularly be found at FC Twente matches, where she enjoys networking and, of course, watching the game. Annelies also loves a good party at TransHeroes. She's a member of the party committee and enjoys helping to organise fun events. She also enjoys hunting and can happily spend hours sitting in a hunting stand.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I really enjoy being in contact with customers. Bringing in large companies in particular gives me a lot of energy. I love talking to people, building relationships and closing great deals. And when we land a big customer like that? Of course, I'm absolutely thrilled!
We also have a large sales team, and I get along well with everyone. I love the friendly atmosphere, having a good laugh together and sharing a joke here and there. That makes my work even more enjoyable!
How would your colleagues describe you?
I think my colleagues would describe me as a kind and spontaneous colleague. I'm always there for others and think it's important that everyone feels comfortable. Secretly, they'll probably also say that I could keep my mouth shut a little more often… and to be fair, I can sometimes see their point. I just love good company and usually have something to say.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy going out for dinner with family and friends, and of course, I never say no to a glass of wine. I'm also regularly at FC Twente matches and actively involved with TGT, where I do a lot of networking. I also enjoy playing golf and can be found on the padel court every week. I love being active and competitive!
I'm crazy about skiing holidays and have been going almost every year since I was little. For me, a week of snow, skiing and good company is simply a must. I also love fashion, occasionally do photoshoots and enjoy sharing the pictures on Instagram. And of course, I regularly visit my parents' Labradoodles. Usually around dinnertime, purely by coincidence.
What's something people might not know about you?
I really enjoy hunting. Give me a hunting stand, a few hours and beautiful surroundings, and I'm completely in my element. And secretly, I also enjoy singing. Especially at parties, the microphone sometimes suddenly ends up in my hands.
