Get to know Dehlinya
Dehlinya works at TransHeroes as a Junior Customs Broker. She particularly enjoys the fact that no two days are the same and that she gets plenty of opportunities to learn new things and develop herself further. Her colleagues would probably describe her as cheerful, sociable and helpful, but also as someone who takes her work seriously. In her free time, Dehlinya enjoys going out, exploring new places and being creative with photography and making jewellery. She also enjoys travelling and regularly goes on outings with her dog.
What do you enjoy most about your work?

When I got this job in May, I immediately thought: this is going to be my first real ‘grown-up job’. What I particularly enjoy is that no two days are the same. There's always something happening, and you get so many opportunities to develop yourself and learn new things. That's what makes it so enjoyable and challenging for me! There's also always a great atmosphere, which is really nice.
How would your colleagues describe you?
I hope my colleagues see me as a cheerful and sociable person, but also as someone who takes her work seriously. I'm not someone who always likes to be the centre of attention, but I do enjoy getting involved and gradually showing more of my personality. I'm also helpful and enjoy supporting others wherever I can.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

In my free time, I love going out and exploring new places. I also enjoy going out for dinner. I like being creative too, going out with my camera, and recently I've started making my own jewellery. I also enjoy going on outings with my dog. And of course, my biggest hobby is travelling!
What's something people might not know about you?
Travelling is truly my passion. Every year, I try to go on a big trip to somewhere beautiful. Next year, I'm planning to visit Japan, and I'm really looking forward to it. New Zealand and Tanzania are also high on my bucket list. I hope to have the opportunity to explore these beautiful countries in the coming years. And once I'm back home, the next project begins: putting together the perfect photo album. I can easily spend months working on that.
