Get to know Gwen
Gwen has been working at TransHeroes as a Sales Specialist since June 2025. Within the Sales department, she focuses on customer contact, following up on emails, preparing quotes and coordinating with different departments. As a result, no two days are the same: one moment she's helping a customer with an enquiry, and the next she's coordinating internally to make sure everything is properly followed up. Outside of work, Gwen also likes to stay active. She enjoys exercising, walking her dogs and appreciating nature and the changing seasons, although she wouldn't mind if summers were a little less hot. She also loves shopping, fashion, spending quality time with family and friends, and hopes to take up horse riding seriously again someday.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
What I enjoy most about my work is the contact with customers and working together with my colleagues. In the Sales department, we're naturally in frequent contact with customers, following up on leads and handling lots of transport enquiries and their follow-ups. I get a lot of energy from a good conversation, and I like to stay organised, so I love making and keeping track of lists. But secretly, what I enjoy most of all is the contact with all my colleagues, the occasional jokes and the friendly atmosphere.
How would your colleagues describe you?
I think my colleagues would describe me as reliable, calm but sociable, and someone who enjoys a good joke.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy exercising and focusing on fitness and health. I also love going for walks with our dogs and enjoying nature and the changing seasons (except for summer, way too hot…). Besides that, I love going shopping and spending quality time with family and friends. I also enjoy typical girly things, like pampering myself and getting all dolled up. I used to be very passionate about horse riding, but unfortunately, I'm not involved in it at the moment. However, I still have hope that I'll take it up again in the future.
What's something people might not know about you?
That my taste in music is quite varied, haha. I love country music, but I also enjoy Latin music and often listen to older music. Many people also know that I love fashion, but they don't know that I closely follow high-end fashion and the latest trends. And last but not least, I'm a huge fan of autumn and Christmas, especially when it comes to home decorations!
