Get to know Leon
At TransHeroes, Leon is involved in the entire transport process within Team 1: from preparing quotes to arranging and coordinating transport. He especially enjoys the variety in his work and the appreciation from customers when everything is arranged properly and on time. His colleagues know him as friendly, spontaneous and helpful, although he admits that he is sometimes described as a bit mischievous. In his free time, Leon enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, mountain biking, playing the piano and watching a good series.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
What I enjoy most about my work is the appreciation I receive from customers when I make sure their transport is delivered on time and without any problems. I also really enjoy the variety. We arrange the entire transport process, from requesting and preparing quotes to actually arranging and coordinating the transport. This means no two days are the same, keeping the work interesting and challenging.
How would your colleagues describe you?
I think most people would describe me as a friendly, outgoing and helpful guy. But I'm also sometimes called a bit mischievous, although I personally don't think it's that bad.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending my free time with my girlfriend. I also enjoy mountain biking and playing the piano. I also like relaxing evenings on the couch watching a good series.
What's something people might not know about you?
Before I joined Team 1, I couldn't speak a word of French, but by now I've almost completed Duolingo. Thanks to lots of phone calls and emails, I can now speak French almost as well as my other colleagues in Team 1. But what people don't know is that I can also speak a few words of Hungarian, because my girlfriend is half Hungarian.
