Get to know Marion
Marion works in the sea freight department at TransHeroes and particularly enjoys the variety in her work. She gets a lot of satisfaction from challenging shipments that eventually reach the customer successfully and from the relationships she builds with customers. Her colleagues know her as calm, reliable and kind, even though she can sometimes feel quite stressed on the inside. In her free time, Marion enjoys going out with her boyfriend and loves being near the water. She also enjoys watching series, taking care of her two Teddy dwarf rabbits and spending time with plants and flowers.
What do you enjoy most about your work?

My work is very varied. It may sound like a cliché, but no two days are ever the same. Every now and then, a shipment comes along that's a bit more challenging than usual. When everything eventually gets sorted out and the shipment reaches the customer successfully, it gives me a great sense of satisfaction. The relationships you build with customers also make for enjoyable and familiar contact. The entire TransHeroes team is a fun and friendly group of people, and I don't just mean my direct colleagues in the sea freight department. TransHeroes is simply one big, fun, crazy and lively bunch.
How would your colleagues describe you?
I hope my colleagues see me as a calm, reliable and, above all, kind person. Sometimes I might panic a little on the inside when things get chaotic, even though I still manage to appear perfectly calm on the outside.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I really enjoy going on day trips with my boyfriend and prefer being near the water. I have a real love for old clipper sailing ships, and I can truly enjoy looking out over the IJsselmeer on a beautiful day, with the sunlight sparkling on the water and a few sailing boats in the background. Maybe one day I'll go sailing on one myself. Of course, there's also nothing wrong with relaxing on the couch and watching a good series. I also have two Teddy dwarf rabbits. Their long fur requires quite a bit of care, so I spend a lot of time looking after them. They're not exactly typical rabbits, by the way. They behave more like two little dogs and certainly make their presence known.
What's something people might not know about you?
I have quite green fingers. A house without plants just isn't a home. I try to keep my (rather small) balcony looking cheerful in every season with colourful flowers.
