Get to know Michel
Michel works as an Account Manager at TransHeroes and spends a lot of time on the road visiting customers throughout the Netherlands. He particularly enjoys the variety, the different industries and thinking along with customers about opportunities and developments. His colleagues know him as enthusiastic, positive and always up for a chat or a joke. He is also an active member of the party committee and enjoys bringing a bit of fun to the office. In his free time, Michel can regularly be found at the gym or on the sidelines at his local football club. He also enjoys meeting up with friends and acquaintances for a drink and is a real film enthusiast.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
As an Account Manager, I visit customers throughout the Netherlands, which brings new challenges every week. The dynamic market, our incredibly innovative approach and customers from various industries make my work truly interesting. It's really valuable to discuss developments, opportunities or even the impact of policies such as Trump's on our customers. At the office, I often bombard my colleagues with questions and requests, and my direct colleagues with stress balls. It's always fun being in the office!
How would your colleagues describe you?
I think my colleagues would describe me as an enthusiastic, positive person who's always up for a chat or a joke. I may not be in the office every day, but when I am, it usually doesn't go unnoticed. I enjoy being part of the fun, including through the party committee, and I hardly ever go to work reluctantly. I think I get along well with everyone and have very few enemies. At least, I hope so!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
When my ankles gave up on me, I unfortunately had to end my rather questionable football career. Now I get my enjoyment from supporting my local football club and staying active at the gym.
In my free time, I basically do the same thing I get paid for: enjoying a drink and a good chat with people I know.
What's something people might not know about you?
That I'm a huge film enthusiast!
