Sandro works in the sales department at TransHeroes and enjoys the variety between working in the office and visiting customers. His colleagues know him as someone who is always busy, enjoys having a laugh and is always ready to help. In his free time, he regularly goes to the gym, enjoys active holidays and attends FC Twente matches with friends. After completing his studies, Sandro spent three years living, working and travelling in Melbourne, Australia.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
My colleagues, of course! Not just within the sales department, but throughout TransHeroes. I also really enjoy the variety between working in the office and visiting customers. When visiting manufacturing companies, I almost always ask for a tour. That way, I not only get a look behind the scenes, but also learn something new every time!
How would your colleagues describe you?
Always busy, never really able to sit still and sometimes a little easily distracted… but also always willing to help others. And if there's an opportunity for a joke, I'm usually right there!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I regularly go to the gym, enjoy going on active holidays and have a season ticket for FC Twente together with a few friends. And when I really want to relax: turn on the PlayStation, fire up Call of Duty and get completely immersed in the action.
What's something people might not know about you?
After finishing my studies, I spent three years living, working and travelling in Melbourne, Australia. During that time, I had all kinds of different jobs: from delivering leaflets and working at a car wash to being a night receptionist and weekend manager at a backpackers' hostel with around 300 guests. I also worked in sales, selling around 10 different product groups to pharmacies, and later handled accounts and administration within the same company.
