What I enjoy most about my work is the variety. You work with many different customers, from experienced to less experienced ones, and with all kinds of agents in different countries. Within the entire sea freight process, I'm mainly involved in the initial stages. I help customers, prospects and agents with quotes, for example, but I also help them think through the rest of the process.

What I particularly enjoy is finding the most cost-effective and best solution for our customers. I don't just look at the price, but also at what works best in practice for the customer and the shipment. I also work closely with the sea freight import team and support them in processing orders.

How would your colleagues describe you?

I think my colleagues would describe me as a cheerful, sociable, but also hardworking colleague. When I first started at TransHeroes, I sometimes got a bit stressed during busy periods. That's why I was occasionally nicknamed ‘Stressie’. By now, I've been working here for over seven months and feel completely at ease. I can truly be myself within the team, and I see that as a very good sign!

In my free time, I enjoy going out for drinks with friends. You can also regularly find me at festivals, and I'm at FC Twente almost every weekend, as I have a season ticket. I also love going on skiing holidays, and of course, I think summer holidays are fantastic too. My boyfriend and I recently bought a house, so that will take up quite a bit of my free time in the coming months. And every now and then, I try to get back into exercising… with mixed success.

What's something people might not know about you?

Well, I'm actually an open book. I think almost everyone at TransHeroes knows pretty much everything about me by now.
