Get to know Yannick
Yannick works in the air freight department at TransHeroes and particularly enjoys the variety in his work. He gets energy from working together with customers and colleagues to find the right solutions and make sure everything is properly arranged. His colleagues would probably describe him as sociable, helpful and always up for a good joke. In his free time, Yannick likes to stay active. He also enjoys meeting up with friends, attending festivals and travelling.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
What I enjoy most about my work is the variety. No two days are the same, and you regularly come across situations where you really have to think things through or figure something out. I particularly enjoy finding solutions to these challenges and making sure everything is properly arranged in the end. I also enjoy being in contact with customers and colleagues. You're working together to get things done, and I think it's great when, at the end of the day, you can say: “We handled that well.”
How would your colleagues describe you?
I think my colleagues would describe me as someone who is sociable and always happy to help when needed. I'm always up for a friendly chat or a good joke. Of course, there's also serious work to be done. By the way, at the office they often call me Erik, a nickname that has stuck by now.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy playing sports and doing fun things with friends. I like cycling and can regularly be found at the gym or on the football pitch. At weekends, I enjoy meeting up with friends in town to catch up. In winter, I love going skiing, and in summer, I enjoy travelling, both within Europe and beyond. I'm also always up for a small festival!
What's something people might not know about you?
I lived in Norway for a year, where I had the opportunity to gain experience in the transport sector!
